We have been working as Women's Rights Advocate since 2006. We are an agent of social change and advocates for women and girls. We pursue our passion of advocating for women's rights, campaigning against harmful practices such as gender inequality, gender based violence, girls dropping out of school, forced marriage, and female genital mutilation (FGM). Working to empower women in education and entrepreneurship, We volunteer as tutors for women and youth at public universities and secondary schools. HDC works to empower women and girls so that they can create peace, prosperity and a more sustainable world.

Habiba Hussein Ali is the founder and Executive Director of Human Development Center an organization committed to the Empowerment of Vulnerable people Women, Children. Habiba is passionate humanitarian, educator, an agent of social change and advocates for women and girls right.  She pursues her passion of advocating for women's rights, campaigning against harmful practices such as gender inequality, gender based violence, girls dropping out of school, forced marriage, and female genital mutilation (FGM).Habiba is loyal advocate for women engagement in education, leadership, peace, security and entrepreneurship. She has achieved significant successes on matters related to Peace building, conflict resolutions, Women’s Political Participation, Education, Ending Violence Against Women and Girls, youth development programs  and Women Economic empowerment She also save more than 2,000 girls from FGM, forced marriage, girls dropping out of schools, Through her work  of women and girls empowerment she received numerous international award and recognitions including completed President Barrack Obama’s flagship White House fellowship for Young African Leaders in 2016  by Supporting and advocating for Women  right this has enabled her be termed as amongst “ Young leaders in Africa” whereby in 2017 again she won Mandela Washington Fellowship for Young African Leaders  for more information see the link below about her work  and leadership  https://www.irex.org/people/habiba-hussein-ali

Habiba Hussein Ali   Prior to working for Women right, Habiba worked with several organizations on areas such as Human Right, peace building, conflict revolution, and Communities development, Nongovernmental organizations, regional bodies and United Nation agencies in countries within Horn of Africa. In this role, Habiba successfully advocated and support development of youth, Communities, women, girls, while ensuring that Communities are at the heart of these process

Habiba volunteers as a tutor for women and youth at public universities and secondary schools. Habiba works to empower women and girls so that they can create peace, prosperity and a more sustainable world. Focuses on peace building, conflict revolution and good governance in conflict settings.  She holds an MBA and a Bachelor of Procurement and Logistics Management.
